The sale is for one plate but I will refund any excess shipping!  The plates are in excellent condition and appear to have never seen the service floor at The Homestead!  Some collectors of Homestead know the significance of these plates!  One can find old advertisements of the African American waiter races that were conducted up at The Homestead about 100 years ago.  The plates had a short existence at The Homestead as the younger generation of The Ingalls family found these plates offensive to their staff and guests.  The pattern was ordered to be destroyed and several pieces were broke by the staff!  Some of the china found it's way in private collections.   There is a book that talks about this and possibly a Google search can provide more information!  The dinner plate measures 10.5" and was the only piece in the set that I'm aware to have the logo!  All the excess shipping will be refunded or I can relist at the number of plates you would like to purchase.  If any questions please let me know
