This is an ULTRA RARE GOLD TONED VERSION OF THE c. 1939 Ingersoll Mickey Mouse watch which as been thoroughly serviced and is a wearable dependable timepiece on a new adult sized leather band PLUS IT COMES WITH IT'S ORIGINAL LEATHER BAND FROM 1939! This is a seriously rare watch and it has been appreciating in value for HALF A CENTURY and will only continue. Everybody wears a watch, who wears AN ORIGINAL 1930's MICKEY MOUSE WATCH? PINK FLOYD wore a 1939 (chrome) model Mickey Mouse watch in the movie THE WALL. The first ever Mickey Mouse watch was sold at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. This watch is the model tailored to ladies / girls / young boys, a c. 1939 year model watch. This watch will come with our sales receipt with model number, serial number, and authenticity noted. It will also come our Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and wooden presentation box with laser cut foam.

At the time of the restoration the manual winding pin lever movement was thoroughly serviced and inspected and it is running as it should. The watch case was ultrasonically cleaned, polished, replated in 14k yellow gold on the case top. The crystal is the original yellowed plastic crystal from 1939 which has been polished to scratch free and it has a warm vintage feel to it. These watches were based on Ingersoll's men's tank watches of the time period, it measures 27 mm wide excluding the crown and 42mm tall including the lugs. The case shows very well with no brassing (wear through) to the gold plate. The case back has not been replated and it shows only light surface scratches. The dial is original and is beautifully aged with much less than typical sun fading. The band on the watch is a brand new quality leather strap which is adult sized, plus it comes with it's original 75 year old leather band too. These are rugged timepieces, you can wear it without fear of breaking it, and this one is a strong runner and keeps time as it should and as well as it did when new. Every part on this watch is original to this watch except for the new leather band.
