All wall surfaces are different. Some are flat, some are textured. We have found that our decals adhere to most any type of surface. The extra heavy gauge textured vinyl prevents bubbles and hides wall imperfections.
As far as your wall paint goes, there are so many different types of paint these days including those with ultra low VOC's. All paints respond differently to the waterbased adhesive on the back of our decals. If in doubt order a small single piece to try.
