A Very Rare/Fine Korean B/W Slip incised Celadon
Square Dish-12/13th C.:
Korea, Goryeo dynasty, 12th / 13th century.
The shallow square dish with a flat base, decorated in incised with peony floral
Head on well and incised with stylized floral spry on sides and on the mouth rim,
on the bottom, burned out during firing in a chamber beneath applied
thin clear greyish blue celadon even glaze.
It is in very good condition, measures 12cm x 9cm x 1.7cm h.
