Storybook - VHS 1995 - Promo Copy

Storybook - The Enchanted Attic (1995, VHS) is a charming live-action fantasy adventure starring Toby Froud (son of Labyrinth designer Brian Froud and puppeteer Wendy Froud) as a young boy who discovers a magical book that transports him into a whimsical world inside his attic. Directed by Dale Schott, this family film blends practical puppetry, miniature sets, and fairy-tale storytelling reminiscent of '80s/’90s children’s classics like The NeverEnding Story or Jim Henson productions. Though obscure compared to big-budget fantasies, its handmade aesthetic and Toby’s connection to Labyrinth (he famously played baby Toby in the David Bowie film) make it a nostalgic curiosity for fans of practical-effects era kids' movies. The VHS—released by Prism Entertainment—is now a rare collectible, often sought by fantasy-film enthusiasts and Froud family admirers.
