These vintage Baush and Lomb Wings Sunglasses are both classic and stylish. They have a look all their own and posess all the same quality materials Bausch and Lomb and Ray-Ban were known for. They were marketed in the 90's as a futuristic take on the popular Aviator style. They're unique, stylish, and functional.

The frame of these glasses is a special metal that was alloyed for strength and durability. The black color is not a paint, it's electroplated onto the metal to ensure that it never chips or fades. Wings were manufactured in 2 slightly different sizes, this being the smaller of the 2. This frame measures approximately 5.5" hinge to hinge, and approximately 2.25" at the widest points top to bottom. It is stamped B&L Ray-Ban U.S.A. on the back mid section. The temples are the ever popular Cable, wrap around temples. Often referred to as "shooter" or "Outdoorsman" after some of their other styles of glasses that were popular with active people. They're both flexible and extra secure to ensure your glasses stay in place during times of high activity. They ends of the temples are dipped in a plastic material that helps them be more comfortable, and also stable. The clear plastic/rubber nose piece offers both comfort and stability.

These glasses feature the B-15 Brown mono lens. Bausch and Lombs first pair of single lens glasses. The lens is made of a very durable polycarbonate, which is the same thing that airplane windshields are made of. They offer the same quality, streak and wave free, sun protection as their glass counterparts in a form that is much more lightweight. They also offer the same eye protection being drop ball tested just the same as their glass counterparts. The B-15 Brown lens is known to sharpen details while cutting glare to allow better vision under a variety of light conditions. They filter out a large percentage of blue light to improve contrast and sharpen details, and also prevent eye fatigue. These lenses boast an 85% light absorption. The lens is laser etched Wings Bausch & Lomb in gold which adds to the sophistication and style of these glasses.

They have never been worn, they're new old stock. However, they seem to have suffered a very tiny flaw.
