☑  Camshafts are an important part of the combustion process that keeps your car on the road. Its movement is responsible for initiating valve movement that regulates the air/fuel mixture that fuels the Big Bang. Camshafts use camshafts (called cams) to push and open the valves (springs on the valves return them to their closed position) as the camshaft rotates in synchrony with the pistons. Although camshafts are durable, they sometimes fail and need to be replaced. There are many reasons for camshaft failure: cam failure due to lubrication problems or lifter failure, camshaft bearing journal failure due to lubrication problems or camshaft fracture. When replacing camshafts, be sure to use our aftermarket replacement camshafts.
