Pull up the door lock to the top and put the arm bar through the door handle.

Press down the arm bar and door handle to open the door.

Insert the arm bar into the clip.

Put baits on the bait hook,place a few baits in front of the door.

1. Test the trap with a stick and check if the door lock (slide bar) can slide smoothly before placing it.
2. Check the trap often.Any animal will fight for its life to escape if trapped for an extended period of time.They may become stressed and try to chew and destroy the wire.
3. Place the cage in the place where rats often appear, such as corners, along the walls, garage and etc.
4. Be patient and do not move the trap frequently,cause rats are smart and vigilant to new objects appear in their "territory"and sometimes it may take days to reduce their alertness.
5. Try different baits if you don't get rats caught (peanut butter, cheese, nuts,bread, sausage, fruit and etc.).
6. Place some bait in front of the cage door to attract rodents into the trap.
7. Take the trapped rodents away as soon as you can.
