Your house just feels cleaner with these "towels"
17 Oct 20
I purchased these Swedish dish towels like many other have done in these past recent months with COVID-19 to help decrease the number of paper products being used in the household. While I have not had these for a large length of time, I have been impressed by their durability and versatility. I debated whether to get these or "non-paper towel towels", and still wonder if maybe before too long I should still get some of those. I can say that from what I have read, these work maybe close to the same? I like that they can be tossed in the dishwasher or washing machine to be sanitized. I have a pink one for kitchen sink, counter, and dishes. A blue one for kitchen floor and trash bin, kept in kitchen and a blue one in bathroom. Yellow one for those lovely carpet gifts the kitties yak up in the middle of the night too . Hey, someone has to be a hero!I think for what these are, how many things they can be used for, how durable they are, the restrictions on paper products currently, and just how clean your home is with these "towels", you just will fell better going into this winter.
The little dishcloth that could

I was a little skeptical about claims I'd seen for these dishcloths. but today I cleaned an entire bathroom with one cloth, everything except the inside of the toilet; sink, tiles, tub, even the floor, washed it and it's as good as new. But Wait! It's also great at picking up hair- and with 5 cats and 2 long haired teen girls, there is plenty of that going around. And it was easy to rinse off the hair, just make sure you have a strainer in the drain or you'll clog the pipes. Lots of hair- we're talking a lump about the size of a baseball, because girls and cats rarely clean up after themselves. Also good at getting dust and hair, more hair, off uneven, hard to clean surfaces like wicker baskets, which just shred paper towels. I would have used half a roll of paper towels doing this job, but with this baby just rinse and keep on going. It's thick enough that it protected my hands from the grub, ooze (why bother to cap that shampoo?) and of course hair. Now saving the world or at least some of the boreal forests one less paper towel at a time.
Perfect for a paper towel shortage

I had never used these before but when I saw that paper goods were flying off the shelves, they seemed like a good idea. I have now been using them with my DIY bleach spray all over the house and also cleaning up messes in the kichen and bathrooms. I love that I can throw them in the dishwasher or put them in a lingerie bag and throw in the washer. Ultimately they will save me money from buying paper towels and are easier on the environment. I'll be using these long after paper towels are back on the shelves.
Stop using paper towels and go for these.

I'm from Sweden, and was perplexed and confused as to why people use paper towels for wiping countertops and whatnot when I moved here some years ago. This is what everyone in Sweden uses instead of wasting money on paper towels. Wettex is the top brand, so go for these. Highly recommended. The maximum size fold-out ones are even better though, would have bought them if they were available at the time of buying (they are now).
So much better than paper towels.

The worst problem is making myself use them for certain tasks I would typically reserve for disposable paper towels. The cloths are bright and have a nice design. I have to remind myself it is okay to use them to wipe up the floor as well as a counter top. They are easy to sanitize and reuse: washing machine, top dishwasher rack, or a minute on high in the microwave. I use the dishwasher or microwave when the cloths have been lightly used (non-gross cleaning tasks). If used for floors, bathrooms, pet messes, etc. I wash them with other cleaning cloths on the sanitary cycle in the washer.I have two sets of cloths. One set is used strictly for the kitchen. The other set is for everything else. We are saving a small fortune in paper towels.I use the cloths for washing windows and cleaning mirrors. They work well with vinager, glass cleaners, bathroom sprays, etc. Highly recommended.

Love the pattern and they work as well as the expensive brands. They do not come in the same colors as the pictures. Yellow is my least favorite color and i received 4 yellow and 2 of all the other colors. That is my only complaint. I was expecting to receive the same amount of each color as what was pictured. Other than that this is a 5 star product. Just be a aware that the amount of each color you get will not be the same as pictured.
The original Wettex are the best!

These are the real deal: soft, flexible, and just the right size. I've tried both the real Swedish dishcloths and some cheap Chinese knock-offs. The cheap ones are too stiff, and they start falling to bits in a couple of weeks. These are vastly better.
Swedish Dishcloths - THE BEST!

This brand has become a fast favorite in my household! Great quality, durability, absorbency, etc on the Swedish dishcloths! I toss them into the washing machine to clean and they come out just as great as the first day I purchased them. I'll continue buying/using this product!

Very good quality sponge. I really like the designs on this set of sponges... they look like the pricier ones without breaking the bank. I purchased 2 sets of 10 sponges and plan to buy more for stocking stuffers for my grown children that live on their own. I have washed in laundry and they come out nice. I do not place it dryer.
