INTENDED USE
The TSH Rapid Test is a home-use test for detecting thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) in whole blood, serum, or plasma. It is for in vitro (outside the body) use only.

BACKGROUND
TSH is a hormone made by the pituitary gland that controls the thyroid’s production of T3 and T4 hormones. These hormones help regulate metabolism, body temperature, heart rate, weight, and more. Abnormal TSH levels may indicate thyroid problems—low TSH may mean hyperthyroidism, while high TSH may suggest hypothyroidism. Untreated thyroid issues can lead to serious health problems. Measuring TSH is the most reliable way to detect thyroid disorders.
