Gulliver's Travels (2010) is a modern, comedic adaptation of the classic novel by Jonathan Swift, starring Jack Black as the lead character Lemuel Gulliver. Directed by Rob Letterman, this family-friendly fantasy adventure reimagines the iconic story with a fun, contemporary twist.

Lemuel Gulliver (Jack Black) is a slacker mailroom worker at a New York newspaper who lies his way into a travel writing assignment. Sent to the Bermuda Triangle, he accidentally sails into a storm and gets shipwrecked on the island of Lilliput, a magical land where the people are just a few inches tall.

At first, Gulliver is imprisoned by the tiny Lilliputians, but he quickly becomes their hero after saving them from a rival island, Blefuscu, using his enormous size and hilarious antics. He teaches the Lilliputians about his world (with lots of movie and pop culture references), and they start seeing him as a godlike figure.

But his fame starts to crumble when his lies catch up with him—and he must prove himself not through size or ego, but courage and heart, especially to impress Princess Mary (Emily Blunt).
