A pair of mid to later 20th century  pen and ink  washes of French  towns by  Frances Walters. In later 19th century/early 20th century glass fronted frames. Scenes are of a market day in Blois, and street scene, Cahors (labels to back of frames). Both signed bottom right corners. Approximate size of frames : 39.5cm x 34.5cm, width 2.8cm. Size of pictures in frames: 20cm x 14.5cm. Wear to frames, one frame missing one black wood square on cross at bottom right and  on the other frame a small wood square is coloured brown rather than black to the top right  cross at corner of the frame. Both frames have two holes on one side, they used to have hanging strings here in the past. Both have hanging strings at top of the frames rather than the sides.
