Roasted Bancha Green Tea

Houji Cha is a Japanese Green Tea which is roasted at a high temperature. The roasting significantly reduces the caffeine content & the catechins in the tea and makes it less bitter.            It has a rich aroma, is naturally earthy with a gentle taste & hint of sweetness.          

Use one teaspoon per person/cup. For the best flavour use freshly Drawn, boiling water. 

Steep for 30 Seconds to 1 minute. 

The Houji Cha is great for brewing hot or iced tea. If you’re making Iced Tea using cold water you’ll need to steep it much longer
