Neither the Ambassador nor Mrs. Woods have communicated with the American government since the quakes began and it is feared that they may have perished in the quake. No news has been received of other American representatives in Japan nor of the American colony in the stricken area.Photo measures 8 x 6inches. Photo is dated --1923.
