WW1  U.S.A military patriotic Doughboy sweetheart silk satin handkerchief holder

Doughboy is an American Infantryman, especially in WW1 

To the front centre is a card with the Stars & Stripes flag and reads; 

"This Flag Waves For Humanity" Malice Toward None: Liberty For All

With a pink bow on either side, which are grubby, and a gold U.S.A

Open to reveal a soldier & his sweetheart with the words Remember Me

Sweet be to thee life's passing hours

And all thy path be decked with flowers

Below is the Stars and Stripes flag, which opens from the top to put your hankies in

The colours are still bright 

It is in very good condition, with fraying, especially to some of the edges
