Telescopic actuators consist of several successively extending segments - chrome-plated cylindrical bushings. This makes it possible to achieve a large extension of the actuator compared to its overall length when assembled.
Telescopes are single-acting actuators. Extension is initiated by supplying pressurised hydraulic oil. Cylinder return is triggered by the action of a distributor which releases pressure from the system - the descent is by gravity, usually under the influence of the weight of the load carrier.
In order to prevent damage to the bushings caused by excessive pressure at maximum actuator extension, a safety device (rope, hydraulic or electric shut-off valve) should be used.
A well-chosen actuator positioned in the centre of the body ensures a load compartment tilt angle of between 40 and 45 degrees.
Thanks to its 5-extension design, the actuator is ideal for vehicles with low ground clearance of the vehicle, trailer or high propeller shaft.
The actuator is fitted to trailers, trucks and specialist vans.
The hydraulic cylinder is ideal for hydraulically powered machinery and equipment.
It can be used in agriculture, horticulture, forestry or construction.
