For auction is an antique 1920s five gallon gas/oil can from an old service station. It was manufactured by the Davis Welding & Manufacturing Co. of Cincinnati and it carries a patent date of 1923. It is embossed on one side near the top 'S O PA' - Standard Oil of Pennsylvania. The can retains a small amount of its original green paint. It has some bumps and bruises from use but remains in excellent condition with very little rust. It is approximately 10 1/2" in diameter and 23 1/2" tall.
