• NOTE: Before playing any sealed 8 track tape, it is highly recommended that you have the foil splice and the pressure pad(s) replaced. Remember that this is a 50+ year old tape, and the adhesive on the foil splice is probably dried out and could fail. Same with the pressure pads that always disintegrate though the tape is sealed. There could also be an issue with the tape's tension due to 50+ years of physical handling.
