DESCRIPTION
This retrofit interface enables you to use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality on your cars original screen. Retains full original factory functionality and information displayed on the cars screen. Provides full integration with factory controls.
What it does:
The MMI box essentially acts as an intermediary between your original head unit and display. While the box is inactive, the original video signal is passed through unchanged and your car works as before. Please note this is not a screen replacement.
After activating the MMI box, the box's video signal is shown on the display instead.
You can easily switch back and forth between the box and your original head unit. Using the MMI box is optional and should be seen as an add-on and not as a replacement.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH THE AUDI A6 A7 MODELS WITH THE RMC HEADUNIT. THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY OTHER MODEL..
