MITSUBISHI UNI-BALL 2-in-1 Metal Body Ball-Point Pen 0.7mm SE-1000
Made in Japan

Mitsubishi Pencil (Uni-Ball) is the oldest company to manufacture pencils in Japan in 1887, and still the largest one for writing tools in Japan.

Actually, they only started producing ballpoint pens in 1961, long after Ohto produced the first Japanese ballpoint pen in 1949.
However, their Jet Stream series has been the best selling oil-based ball point pen in Japan since 2006, and still sold 100 million pcs per year.

This is just a simple standard 2-in-1 (black & red) pen with twisting action introduced in 1992.
You do not find this pen sold at retail stores and not even at Mitsubishi Uni's official web site but only appears on their physical paper catalogue.
There is even no model name given for this humble long-seller but reference number only.

On the pen itself, if you remove stickers on the barrel, there is no brand logo, reference number, and even indicator for twisting function but pararell grooves on the grip only.
Due to the classic brass barrel construction and slim shape, it is sturdy yet light weight ideal for carrying around.

More importantly, it can be fitted with most of conventional 4C refills you can find anywhere.
It means that you can install "Jet Stream" refills!

I believe this anonymous masterpiece is a bargain for 2-in1 pen with this kind of quality at this price range.
