Note: Update the software to the latest version after replacing this board. Go to esupport.sony.com and download the correct version for your model and follow all instructions. The board may appear to be dead or defective if the software is not installed. It may take a few tries to install the software with the USB drive. Format USB drive to FAT32 before downloading software. This board is fully functional so proper installation of the software is required. If Sony no longer supports software for your board, try softpedia.com.
NOTICE: Due to the high volume of returns of good boards because the buyer was unable to properly install the firmware, I will not accept returns. You can attempt to load the firmware at your own risk. If you are a TV technician who knows how to install firmware then you should have no problem installing the firmware on this board. As far as I know, Sony is the only manufacturer that requires firmware to be installed on their main boards.
