Up for 'BUY IT NOW' is a rare original game 2 ticket stub from the Cincinnati Reds vs. Baltimore Orioles 1970 World Series game which took place at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati, OH back on October 11, 1970. Having lost the 1969 World Series to the Mets, the Orioles were back in the 1970 World Series after winning 108 regular season games.
The Orioles scored 5 runs in the 5th inning and held off the Reds in this contest by a score of 6-5 to take a commanding 2 games to none lead going back to Baltimore. The Orioles would eventually win this series in 5 games. Brooks Robinson of the Orioles was named the World Series most valuable player. Not accepting offers on this item.
