This vintage cotton tablecloth is adorned with extensive
hand needlework cutwork, featuring both beautiful embroidery designs and heavy pretty
crochet designs. The thick full bordering of heavy crocheting is designed to
ensure the tablecloth hangs evenly on a table.

There are some identification Maker’s Marks on the
inside corners-see photos
It is challenging to photograph due to its size, as I
don't have a large enough table to shows its full impressive display it. It
looks much better in real life.

Condition
The white cotton material and very pretty copious amounts of embroidery and very pretty copious amounts heavy crocheting are in great vintage condition, with the exception of some minimum sporadic areas where there are detached threads, only on close inspection I spotted these.
When I inherited this vintage table linen it was stored
amongst other vintage items some unpolished/uncleaned in a plastic container and
I in turn placed the container in storage for several decades.
The white cotton material and copious pretty embroidery and
copious heavy crocheting are in great vintage condition, there are age used
stains on this tablecloth, which may have been used related or maybe be from
stored amongst the unpolished/uncleaned in a plastic container See photos.
I have not attempted to launder this tablecloth due to my
inexperience in caring for handmade embroidered and crocheted linen which I will
leave to potential buyers experienced in handling / caring for such fabrics.
You are bidding on a used vintage used item so should be
expected to have some signs of age use or wear marks,. But please satisfy
yourself by carefully viewing the pictures which form part of the description
that you are happy with the condition before bidding.
