ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1950's DRESS

Beautiful original vintage dress from the 1950's. Orange and white floral and fruit pattern print. Full skirt and big cape style collar.

It is a very pretty dress, a great example of 1950's fashion. 

Metal zip to the side of the waist.

Size – no size label as this is a handmade dress, this dress measures as around a size 10-12, please see the measurements below to decide if it will be suitable for you.

Measurements – armpit to armpit 19”, across waist 15”, across hips open length from top of shoulder to hem 40"

All measurements are taken with the garment lying flat, we then use these measurements to size the item – the label size (if there is one) will also be given but may differ from the size we list the item as, since sizes vary so much across eras and brands. Our mannequin is a size 8 so larger sized garments are sometimes pinned to photograph. 

Condition – This dress is in very good condition for an item of its age, but does show general signs of age and wear. This is a vintage item and has been worn and loved before, we think this is part of what gives vintage its unique charm but please be aware of this and don’t expect perfection, though we will make every effort to note any specific issues or damage.
