Constructed in the United States from 3/16 inch (4.7 mm) thick scratch-resistant polycarbonate the AltRider headlight guard lenses are constructed from impact resistant polycarbonate -- the same material as bullet proof windows. This polycarbonate is formulated with a hardened scratch resistant surface both front and rear. Dual lenses are secured with 1/16 inch (2 mm) laser cuttextured powder coat steel brackets and frame that are extremely resistant to rust or weathering.

The headlight guard mounts to four factory hard points by way of two 1/16 inch (2 mm) laser cut steel mounting bracketsand using custom machined aluminum ball studs and rubber sockets to mount the lens to the frame. The no-tools quick release system allows for easy removal of the face for cleaning. The textured powdercoat steel construction is extremely resistant to rust or weathering.
