Rebuild kit for Mercedes OM601, OM602, OM603, OM604, OM605, and OM606 diesel lift pumps.

If you're doing a rebuild of your fuel system, this is the heart of the system. It supplies diesel to the injection pump and must have good pressure without any air leaks. Don't forget to replace the seals in the lift pump for quick starts, excellent power, and leak free performance.

This kit contains 3 seals. One for each of the two fittings that unscrews from the housing (removed with a hex socket or wrench) and one small internal seal that seals between the plunger and the inside of its surrounding barrel (look carefully for the slot and o-ring inside) it's easy to miss, but it's there.

All three of these seals become hard, brittle, and ineffective after years of diesel drying them out. Having a new internal seal ensures good fuel pressure and no leaks past the plunger/piston.
