OVERVIEW

The Carlisle Radial Trail RH is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The five-rib tread has an incredibly detailed pattern full of lateral and angled sipes and notches. Those are there to deal with the wet road conditions and also to establish traction whenever necessary. This includes even harsher dry, winter, or rainy conditions when it is important to keep up the performance. The compound itself also helps with traction, as it stays flexible during summer and winter as well. The grooves and notches help channel the water away from the footprint, ensuring consistent contact.

The wide, flat tread footprint not only takes care of traction but it ensures a high level of stability as well. With all five ribs constantly touching the road surface, driving pressure is uniformly divided and the tire becomes more stable. The tread pattern is also symmetric, which further enhances stability, resulting in faster and more accurate steering responsiveness. This makes driving in harsh weather conditions safer and easier.

This model is made of a strong rubber compound that enhances its load capacity and provides it with heat-resistant technology. Therefore, the heat generated by the driving pressure won't speed up tread wear that much, ensuring long tread life. The tire's sturdiness also comes in handy for damage resistance, as it is constructed with puncture resistance in mind. The Radial Trail RH is able to perform safely on the highway while carrying heavy loads in all weather conditions.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Due to the acquisition by Carlstar Tires, Carlisle tires are now manufactured under the Carlstar banner. For this reason, some Carlisle tires might come with the Carlstar brand name stamped on their sidewalls.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
