NBR =(Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Rubber,also called nitrile rubber) is a standard material for O-rings with a variety of applications in an application range between -20°C and 120°C.

Properties of NBR O-rings:

NBR O-rings consist of a synthetic rubber with excellent resistance to mineral oil-based oils and greases, hydraulic oils (H, H-L, H-LP), silicone (oils and greases), hydraulic fluids (HFA, HFB, HFC) as well as aliphatic hydrocarbons, air and water.

For other oils and fuels, we recommend testing the resistance of the NBR O-ring. Good physical properties such as high abrasion and stability in addition to good temperature resistance allow a wide range of applications for NBR O-rings.
