This story comes from the archaeological magazine "Ancient American". One of the Giants is shown of the cover of that book. The giant made cover of the magazine.
We have actual photos of two of the giants, both are over 8 foot. The skeptics might be dismissal coming from a journalistic source like Ancient America, however journalistic sources are used all the time to reference. Some of the major magazines like Discover, National Geographic, and nature has been owned by hobby shops and even the Disney corporation. So Ancient America is no science journal, (which we prefer) however, it is more reliable than other the magazine journals which are more widely used but have higher retraction rates.
