No Soldering Required. The DB9 Hole Is Pre-Punched In The TYT Radio Chassis. It Has A Plastic Cover, See Pic With "D". Simple To Remove. The DB9 Female Connector Is Opened On One Side To Compensate For Irregular Hole Spacing On The TYT Radio. This Allows The Connector To Move Slightly Left Or Right, To Align With The Pre-Drilled Holes.
