Description:

The 5069-OB16 is a discrete output module included in the Compact 5000 series made by Allen-Bradley. It is compatible with CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 controllers and offers 16 single group sourcing output channels. It is rated for a nominal output of 24 Volts DC and an output voltage range of 10 Volts to 32 Volts DC. The output current is rated at 0.5 Amperes resistive per channel for a total of 8 Amperes resistive total per module.

The Allen-Bradley 5069-OB16 is a highly compact device and functions on a digital platform to accentuate the efficiency of the control system. The on-state voltage of the module is rated within a range of 10 volts and 32 volts of direct current with a nominal value of 24 volts of direct current. The off-state leakage current per point does not exceed a maximum value of 0.5 milliamperes. The module can be isolated by using a continuous isolation voltage of 250 volts of direct current. The device weighs 175 grams and does not need to be housed in a specific enclosure. The module can be mounted on a chromate-passivated steel DIN rail and its modular design ensures that stringent space requirements do not need to be met to house the component.
