Wonderful pair of antique Japanese powder blue or 'azure' glazed bowls with gilt decoration featuring a scholar in the garden on one side and a willow tree on the other. Nice, rare examples of this type!

Both in great antique condition with minor age-related surface wear. Small glaze line to the base of the cup on the right but barely noticeable and doesn't show on the inside.
