Product description: This art book showcases the work of emerging ceramic artist Hitomi Murakami, featuring her unique creations that blend human forms with flora, exploring themes of transience and eternity. It includes her collaborative piece "graveyard of zal" exhibited at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, along with essays and commentary. The book highlights Murakami's artistic philosophy of expressing the body as a vessel for the soul, primitive mythical thinking, and the intersection of consciousness and unconsciousness, sacred and profane.
