This is a very rare find We have 9 fish knives in the very rare Tiffany Vine Pomegranate iteration. According to Dr. Bill Hood in his wonderful book on Tiffany flatware, there were only fish knives (in two blade styles), desert knives (two blade styles), and a fruit knife made in the pattern. These have the “T” in the Tiffany mark indicating they were made in the 1891–1901-time frame. The knives are approximately 7 13/16” in length, and their average weight is 2.50 troy ounces. The handles are solid silver. The blades are in the ‘wavy pattern’. They are substantial! They are in excellent condition. Most of the dark spots in the main picture are due to reflection. There is some minor staining and spotting to the blades and handles as well as some very fine scratching and very minor tip damage to one. There is no deep scratching. The main picture shows 12 knives; however, three has been sold.
