Private S.N.A.F.U. (SNAFU) was released on VHS in 1992 by Rhino Home Video. Private Snafu was a series of cartoons produced by Warner Bros. during World War II as humorous instructional videos for the military.  The cartoons were written by Theodor “Dr. Seuss” Geisel, among others, and voiced by Mel Blanc. Various directors of the series included Chuck Jones, and Friz Freleng, and others. The acronym SNAFU was military slang for "Situation Normal All Fouled Up".
