The Cover - This is the height of the tourist season. Chapter clubs nationwide are getting members into their Model A's and out on the road. The scene on the cover could be almost anywhere in the U.S.A. (Except perhaps Kansas, where a hill that big would be indecent.)

Enjoying the outdoor activities of a chapter club is what makes the Model A hobby a winner. You can bang out fenders, grind valves, adjust brakes, clean upholstery, and polish paint for only so long; then, you need a reward for all that labor. And you can get that reward at your neighborhood chapter. It's easy. Lay down the tools and take your family out on the subsequent tour. Then invite others to do the same. Next, help the officers plan and run a tour. First, you are having fun and enjoying the hobby more, and so is your family.
