The UFP A-60 Series Replacement Inner Member Slide (Part numbers UFP 34039 / Dexter 099-060-00/K99-060-00) for Hydraulic Drum Brakes is a complete inner member slide assembly designed to fit into existing A-60 outer member housings, containing all essential internal components of the A-60 Hydraulic Brake Actuator for reliable performance and ease of maintenance. This assembly includes an aluminum master cylinder, shock absorber, rollers, roller pins, push-rod, latch assembly, and breakaway cable. All UFP actuator inner member slides and outer housing assemblies are interchangeable, accommodating both bolt-on and weld-on setups. Specifically designed for hydraulic drum brake systems, it features corrosion-resistant internal metal parts, is rated for a 7,500 lb GVWR (upgraded from the previous 6,000 lb rating), and is compatible with 2-inch ball hitches. The all-aluminum master cylinder offers superior corrosion resistance, with a sealed reservoir to prevent moisture entry, and a rubber push rod boot for freeze-up protection. UFP's exclusive latching mechanism ensures a secure hitch ball lock, and the breakaway cable kit enhances safety. The A-60 is easy to bleed, either through pressure bleeding or by stroking the master cylinder push rod with a screwdriver.
