NEW triple chime quartz clock movement conversion kit to be used in place of a Hermle 2214 or 2215 clock movement with a 21 mm shaft length.   13/16" overall length center shaft - for use with dials up to 3/8" thick.  Please note that the Hermle 2114 and 2115’s came with several hand shaft lengths, so please measure your old one to make sure this hand shaft is the same or longer.  This movement has a choice of 3 melodies: Full 4/4 Westminster, Ava Maria, Bim-Bam, and hourly strike only.  Counts the hour on the hour with all 4 chime options.  Uses 2 "C" cell batteries (Alkaline recommended) and 1 AA.  The movement measures 4 5/8" (118 mm) wide x 4 7/16" (113 mm) tall and 1 1/8" (29.5 mm) thick (not including the center shaft).  Adjustable volume control.  Speaker measures 3” diameter.  Instructions included.

This movement can be used with or without a pendulum. We have a separate listing for this movement that does  include the pendulum. You can always add a pendulum to this movement at anytime.

THIS MOVEMENT IS A DIFFERENT SIZE THAN THE HERMLE - PLEASE MEASURE YOUR CLOCK CASE, AS WELL AS THE HAND SHAFT LENGTH,TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SPACE FOR THIS MOVEMENT - IN MOST CASES, THIS WILL FIT.

 

*****THE LENGTH OF THE HAND SHAFT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT****

 

PLEASE measure the hand shaft length of your existing movement from the front of the clock movement out to the tip of the shaft (this requires removing the movement from the case).  If the overall length is 13/16" or more, this should work for you.  Currently, we have this hand shaft length and one smaller with different style hands.

 

THIS MOVEMENT IS AUTOMATICALLY SHIPPED WITH 3" LENGTH SERPENTINE STYLE HANDS AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTO WITH THE MOVEMENT.  HAND LENGTH IS MEASURED FROM THE CENTER OF THE HOLE TO THE TIP OF THE MINUTE HAND.  One set of hands per order.  Please note that the hand shaft style is called an "I" shaft hand style. There are many hand styles, sizes and colors that will fit this "I" hand shaft style.  So many to choose from on line, we decided to send this movement out with the ones listed as they are the most popular and will fit most Howard Miller, Seth Thomas, Ridgeway and other clocks.
