Water Filter It comes with a steel water filter. If you don't have time to routinely clean the filter if your (well) water is muddy, we recommend you remove the filter and let downstream hose handle the silt instead, otherwise blockage at the filter might lead to all plants not getting water and you might not know that until days later after plants dried out. Silt in the hose is easier to flush out and any blockage might only affect the last plant on the hose run.
Temperature/Pressure Range
Above freezing, i.e., above 0-Centigrade to avoid interior ice expansion and bursting the unit. If no freezing inside unit (i.e. no iced up), below-0C outdoor/exterior temperature won't affect unit. The product uses a water pressure of 4.27 to 113.78 PSI, a flow rate of 2.11 to 8.19 gallons per minute (GPM), and is suitable for a water temperature of 33.8 to 140°F..
