The Cabrio MV free 100 IF with flex 100 was developed for freetouring enthusiasts who appreciate different skiing abilities and walkability options. The boot features a wider 101mm last (MV stands for 'Medium Volume'), offering the best fit for skiers with wider feet or those who prefer more volume. The IF (Instant fit) HIKE MV liner, specially designed for 'Medium Volume' boots, offers greater comfort and direct contact with the foot. The liner is made up of separately manufactured, partially pre-shaped components, with slightly softer materials around the ankle and forefoot. The Cabrio design, which gives the boots their name, allows for controlled descents on various terrains. The three-piece construction allows for uniform flex, harmonious cushioning and stable lateral and heel support. The bi-injected tongue is made with softer plastic at key flex points for an easier walk, further supported by thinner tongue ribs. A further feature of the Uphill package is the Ski-Walk mechanism, which adapts to the angle of the cuff via a curved interaction surface, automatically adjusting the lateral inclination.
