The genuine MMD™ reverse gear is made out of the highest quality materials. The main body is machined out of  aluminum. It is the first reverse gear on the market to offer a safety engine shut off switch  to prevent damage in case the reverse gear and forward gears are engaged simultaneously. The genuine MMD™ reverse gear is made in the USA and Europe with the final assembly in the USA.  This genuine MMD™ reverse gear comes with an adjustable lever. The adjustable lever is machined out of solid billet (polished or black, depending on availability).

The genuine MMD™ 5 speed reverse gear can be mounted to any HD ,except Sportster and V-Rod,with new generation 5 speed transmission  through 2006 (for a limited time HD introduced the first generation 5 speed which ran for approx 2 years in production. Please note if your bike is equipped with the first generation 5 speed, this reverse gear will not fit) On some models exhaust modifications may be required.
