DIY TIPS

• Most common ways of fastening the webbing include stapling the overhangs on the back of timber frame, preferably with a rebate and finish off with timber trim. For furniture restoration, clean out the existing groove from debris and fit the webbing with contact glue and new rattan core pith (usually 1mm smaller than size of groove). To secure webbing directly onto panel backing, use contact adhesive.
• We recommend using a heat gun to make it more malleable and easier to work with. Just be careful not to overheat the plastic as it will deform.
