Your Boat, Our Design:
Your boat is a valuable investment, and well-designed accessories play a crucial role in its longevity. Fortress your boat and keep it secure. Our mooring sandbags are a simple and effective way to help ensure that your boat cover stays put, even in rough weather.
Built to last:
Made from strong 600 denier marine-grade polyester, each mooring bag is a single unit without extra parts or pieces to lose. With double-stitched side seams, a bottom gusset and wide hook-and-loop closure, these sandbags are built to last. No metal hooks and clips means no risk of scratching your boat's gelcoat or paint finish. Adjustable straps with quick-release clips allow for easy attachment and removal, securing your boat cover in place and holding strong during rough weather.
Perfect for all boat sizes:
This set of four mooring weights is ideal extra security for small to medium-sized boats. Simply place one bag at each corner of your boat cover for reliable hold. Additional bags may be used for larger watercraft and yachts with more feet of canvas to secure.
Perfectly weighted:
Holding up to 8 pounds of sand, pea gravel, or similar dry ballast (not included), each bag has a convenient fill line to help you achieve the perfect weight for optimal stability. Extra space above the fill line allows for smooth movement to reduce stress on your cover during windy conditions.
Quick installation:
Simply thread the buckle through a hemline loop and click to secure, squeeze to release. Connection strap is adjustable to the length best suited for your boat.
Multiple uses:
Not just a mooring weight, our sand bags are multi-purpose. Use the sandbags to anchor beach umbrellas, canopies, or support poles when they're not securing your boat cover.
IMPORTANT
To avoid possible damage to the boat or cover, remove bags prior to trailering.
FAQ
How many bags are needed?
Most small to medium boats only require one kit. Place one bag at each corner of the boat. If you moor in a windy area or simply want extra security, additional kits may be used. Please space added bags evenly so no portion of your cover is over-weighted. Large boats or yachts over 24 feet long may require multiple kits.
My bags are dirty - how do I clean them?
Bags may be machine washed on delicate in cool/cold water only. Line dry. Do not use detergents. Please empty ballast from bags before cleaning.
Can I place water ballast into the bags instead?
We do not recommend the use of water ballast.
My boat cover does not have loops at the hemline.
Our mooring bags are not compatible with boat covers that do not have loops.
