Iron Cobra 600 Series Hi-Hat Stand
● The footboard has the same design as the Iron Cobra 600 Series drum pedals. The pipe diameter is 28.6mm for the lower section and 25.4mm for the upper section.
● The swivel foot mechanism allows the tripod to be rotated, which is convenient when setting up a twin pedal.
● The spring tension can be adjusted to 6 levels.
● The tip of the footboard can be fitted with a TOE STOPPER HP900-81 (sold separately).
Main Features
◆Swing Lock Clutch
The newly developed "Swing Lock Clutch" minimizes the contact area with the top cymbal. When playing half-open or open, you can get a more natural sound and sustain.
◆Spring Seat
The bottom seat was designed to increase the "sharpness" of the hi-hat closed sound. By slightly tilting the support part that supports the bottom cymbal, the air that occurs between the two cymbals when closing the hi-hat with the pedal is quickly released, creating a crisp sound.
◆6-Way Tension Adjustment
By rotating the stand parts, the spring tension can be adjusted in 6 steps. You can visually check the tension. It can also be operated with one hand, so you can easily adjust it while sitting on the stool.
◆Swivel Foot
Equipped with a mechanism that allows the three legs to rotate freely independent of the direction of the footboard. This makes it much easier to set up when using twin pedals.
◆Footboard Angle Adjustment
The angle of the footboard can be adjusted steplessly by rotating the nylon nut at the top of the chain.
◆Spare-The-Rod-Tension Rod Protector
TAMA's unique storage function is adopted, where the tension rod is inserted into the upper pipe and fixed with a hi-hat clutch. There is no need to worry about the rod bending during transportation of the hi-hat stand.
◆Non-Loosening Tension Rod (US PAT.NO.6075192)
The metal nut is molded into a mortar shape and the plastic nut fits perfectly to prevent the cymbal rod from loosening and making noise while playing.
