Due to new U.S. customs regulations, all packages will be shipped with UPS and you can add up to 2kg/4lbs movie posters and photos for the same price ! Ask for the Total before paying.

IMPORTANT: If the item is shipped to the United States, the United Kingdom, or any other country outside the European Union, the buyer may be required to pay local taxes and customs fees. However, items with a value of less than $100 USD may be cleared at no additional cost (without warranty).

Mauvais Genres cannot be held responsible for this additional cost, which depends solely on the tax rules of the importing country. If you decide to refuse the delivery because of the taxes that your customs claim from you and the package is returned to us, all shipping costs (round trips) as well as ebay fees and restocking fees (10€) will not be refunded to you

ECONOMIC VS. EXPEDITED SHIPPING

Economic : Cheap, tracking included (follow-up to your mailbox for most countries), no insurance, 10-45 days delivery (10/15 days most of the time)
Expedited : Fast (5-8 opened days), signature at delivery, insured.

Economic delivery allows you to have a follow-up to your mailbox (which works in 99% of cases). If your parcel is "misplaced" by the postman or stolen from your mailbox - even though it is declared "delivered" by the carrier, we cannot be held responsible, the carrier's delivery status prevails. To benefit from insurance and a signature upon receipt of the package, you must choose delivery with signature (expedited shipping)

The items are of course very, very protected for shipping (strong tube for rolled items, carboards, plastic sleeves, etc…)

Special case of parcels damaged by the carrier (IMPORTANT): Any damaged parcel must be refused by the recipient. If the package is left in a mailbox, take a picture of it and send it back via your post office, specifying that the package was found in this condition in your mailbox. We will only be able to proceed with an exchange (or refund if the product is no longer in stock) if the package has been refused or evidence of delivery discrepancies can be provided. 

What can I do if my parcel arrives damaged ?

Despite all our precautions, some packages may be damaged during transport. There are two possible scenarios: -

Case 1: Delivery of the package against signature. Open the damaged package in the presence of the postal worker to check if the product is damaged. If so, refuse it. If the postal worker refuses to let you open the package, refuse it as well. These same checks should also be carried out if you are collecting it from the post office. -

Case 2: The package was delivered in your absence (Economy Shipping). Open the package and check the condition of its contents.

Take photographs of the damaged goods. The photographs must show:

• The entire damage, not just a minor detail.
• The outer packaging (box/envelope), including the carrier's shipping label (essential to prove that it is indeed your package and that the damage occurred during transport and not after the package was opened).
• The inner packaging and protective material used. Contact our customer service as soon as possible to report the delivery problem and receive our assistance.

All our products are sold on our website too, the availability of our product is not guaranteed unless payment is done.
