32mm round slotted wargaming bases made from injection-moulded ABS plastic. The current standard infantry base size in modern tabletop wargaming, with a 25mm parallel slot for models that have integrated tabs on their feet. Slide the tab through, glue, trim — done. Black, ready to prime and texture.

🔧 Material & Build

Injection-moulded from ABS plastic — the same family of materials used in LEGO bricks. ABS does not warp, holds its shape over time, and bonds reliably with superglue (cyanoacrylate) and two-part epoxy. The textured top surface grips PVA, texture paste, and basing sand without needing to score or rough up the surface first. Takes all spray and brush-on primers cleanly.

Every mould in the OBS range is designed in-house using industry-standard CAD — these are not generic imports. We control the full production chain from design through to quality control. Mould lines are clean and consistent.

At 4mm total height with a 1.3mm floor, these bases are thicker and more solid than many competing 32mm bases. The extra material adds weight and stability on the tabletop, and gives you 2.7mm of clearance underneath — comfortably fits 3x2mm disc magnets for magnetic storage and movement trays.

The 31.6mm actual outer diameter matches industry-standard 32mm nominal sizing. These bases fit standard 32mm movement trays and transport solutions. Upgrading older models from 25mm? OBS 25mm → 32mm base converters let you resize without rebasing.

💡 From the Workbench

USING THE SLOT

Slide the model's tab through the slot, apply superglue from underneath, and trim any excess tab flush with the base bottom using a hobby knife or sprue cutters. The 2.06mm slot width accepts standard miniature tabs with a snug fit.

DON'T NEED THE SLOT?

Fill it with green stuff, milliput, or plastic card before texturing. A thin strip of plasticard cut to width sits flush and gives you a smooth surface — then texture over the top as normal.

PREP

Wash before priming — a quick rinse in warm soapy water removes mould release residue. Let them dry fully before spraying.

MAGNETS

2.7mm underside clearance — fits 3x2mm disc magnets comfortably. Use CA gel (not liquid) so it doesn't run, and check polarity before the glue sets if you're magnetising a whole unit for tray use.
