This is a Stunning and Desirable piece of Victorian Gold Jewellery. Made in 9ct Rose Gold it is a Round Brooch featuring an Australian Kookaburra Bird which has been Hand Painted onto a Curved Piece of Pottery. The Brooch has a basic Hook and Pin Fastener on the back and as is normal with these pieces the pin is not made of Gold as it would be too weak. In normal Victorian Style it is Simply Hallmarked on the back as photographed with 9CT for the Gold Purity and it has been electronically tested at a precious metal refinery to confirm the Gold Content. The Brooch weighs 3.4g and measures 24mm diameter. The Brooch is in a used and good condition for its age with no real damage and just some minor surface wear.
