This listing is for a set of 2 vintage German porcelain oval serving platters by Johann Haviland in the Moss Rose pattern. The platters have a scalloped edge with a white ground and large sprays of red roses and lush green foliage. They are further accented with a heavy applied gold rim on the edges. They are marked on verso "JOHANN HAVILAND BAVARIA GERMANY". The larger platter measures 11 by 15 inches, the smaller platter is 9 3/4 by 13 inches.
The condition is very good with no chips, scratches or utensil marks. Please see the many photographs for more on the look and condition as they are an important part of the description.
