Antique Chinese pewter plate with two exquisite dragons in combat with each other. If you enlarge the picture you can see the excellent artistry of the hand carved designs of dragons which shows the scales of their bodies and their tails which appear to trail feathers. The plate is 9 1/2 inches diameter.
