For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. Pirelli Cinturato P7 Run Flat Tires
The Pirelli Cinturato P7 Run Flat is a performance and high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire is a run flat model. It was made with a strengthened internal structure which allows the tire to withstand the weight of the vehicle and its passengers in case of air pressure loss. In such instances, the tire is able to be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph once air pressure leaves the tire due to a puncture or other damage. In such instances, the vehicle will not be stranded on the side of the road, but it can reach a nearby location, where the issue can be taken care of. Run flat tires should not be mounted on the same vehicle with regular tires, due to their heavier construction.
The ideal tread design and the durable compound elements increase the usability. The optimal footprint's road contact enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid irregular wear formations. The stronger compound's heat resistance avoids premature wear. It prevents heat build-up along the tread area, minimizing the overall treadwear rate. The slower and even treadwear extends the service and tread life.
The tread design's surface contact improves the controllability. The shoulder and center tread design upgrade the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The better road contact allows the tire to boost the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder design also manages to upgrade the cornering and maneuvering ability. They provide additional biting edges in order to grip the road surface during maneuvering. As a result, the tire maintains the driver's control over the vehicle.
The hybrid summer compound and the optimal tread design increase the summer weather performing safety. The compound elements maintain the rubber flexibility and prevent heat build-up along the tread area in high heat weather situations. The Pirelli Cinturato P7 Run Flat features a variable pitch sequence along the tread area. The pitch variation manages to generate a sound-cancelling frequency while the tires are in motion. This enables the tire to lower the overall road noise levels by negating the soundwaves before they can reach the vehicle's cabin. As the road disturbances are not heard by the passengers, the model promotes a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience.
This tire model was manufactured as the original equipment tire of select BMW vehicles.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
